Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with port, ocean carrier and stevedore company representatives on incoming cargo and off loading ships
· Inspect cargo for damage upon arrival and off loading from vessel, at lay down area and when loaded to truck
· Fill out inspection report documentation on each component and provide to project team
· Coordinate truck availability for all loads with trucking company
· Supervise the loading of all trucks going to site from port the lay-down area
· Ensure components are loaded in proper sequence
· Coordinate with site on deliveries
· Maintain equipment tracking and port loading schedule
· Create truck bills of lading and tender loads in PS DASH or equivalent system
· Insure Bills of Lading are issued and drivers complete "Exception Report" noting any damage
· Monitor and document all truck detention
· Ensure all return parts are collected and packaged for transport
· Monitor return containers shipping back to Denmark
Requirements
· Bachelor´s Degree in a relative matter, such Foreign Trade, International Commerce, Custom Law, Logistics
· Mariner qualifications is an advantage
· 4-6 years of experience in shipping industry, handling operations in ports
· Experience planning and managing loading and discharge operations efficiently
· Knowledge and experience in maintenance of equipment like shore cranes under control
· Experience in managing relationships with API (Integral Port Administration) and Harbor Master and manage relations
· Experience in control cost and operations budget
· Experience negotiating services with terminal providers and navy lines, transporters, and related actors
· Knowledge and experience in Customs General Direction, in Foreign Trade Matters, Customs Law, Ports Law, Ports Operations Law, Foreign Trade Law
· Knowledge and experience in systems of quality control, processes implementation of normative standards
